To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, and to contribute financial and tax strength to further comprehensively deepen reforms and promote the construction of Chinese-style modernization, on the afternoon of September 10th, the School of Finance and Taxation held a special study session on the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party with the theme "Building Consensus on Reform and Stimulating Momentum for Progress" in the 811 conference room of the Gezhi Building. The study session was led by Wu Chunli, the Party Committee Secretary of the school, and all faculty and staff participated in the study.

Wu Chunli introduced the main content of the "Decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Promoting Chinese-style Modernization" (hereinafter referred to as the "Decision"), pointing out that these reform measures involve the system, mechanism, and institutional levels, and have significant guiding significance for future reform practices. Further comprehensive deepening of reforms must adhere to six principles: upholding the Party's overall leadership, adhering to a people-centered approach, maintaining correct innovation, focusing on institutional construction as the main thread, comprehensively governing the country according to law, and adhering to a systemic concept，These six principles embody the core essence of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on comprehensively deepening reform, and are a scientific summary of the valuable experience of comprehensively deepening reform since the reform and opening up, especially in the new era. Wu Chunli emphasized the reform measures discussed at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party in three areas: economic and livelihood sectors, education and talent systems, and the leadership and construction of the Party. She stressed the need to focus on the economic and livelihood sectors to promote high-quality development, to deepen the reform of education and talent systems, and to accelerate the establishment of a high-quality education system. She highlighted the importance of reforming the Party's leadership and construction systems, proposing to uphold the centralized and unified leadership of the Party Central Committee in further comprehensively deepening reforms.

The academy took this learning opportunity as a starting point to systematically promote the study and understanding of the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party among all faculty and staff. It plans to advance high-quality development of the academy through various reform measures, strives to solve deep-seated issues faced by the academy's development, and insists on implementing reforms with a spirit of determination. The academy aims to continuously improve the quality of digital finance and taxation talent cultivation, build a first-class faculty team, and achieve the goals of developing a first-class fiscal discipline and constructing a first-class applied economics discipline.
